Club training sessions
Club coaching nights have something for everyone and cater for all levels of runners. Our experienced and qualified coaches will help you get the best from each session. Why not give them a try or get back into it if you’ve been away for a while? And we always welcome prospective members (for up to four weeks free trial period before joining us).
TUESDAY - LAC track session at Xcite Craigswood (Livingston) 6pm til 7pm. Sessions can be adapted for runners of all levels.
WEDNESDAY - There is an LAC session AND an LGL session on a Wednesday.
LAC open session 6pm-7pm at the Cycle Circuit at Xcite Linlithgow. Meet for a group warm up at 6pm after which runners can essentially do whatever training they need.
LGL Wednesday session meet 6:30pm at gates of the Cycle Circuit at Xcite Linlithgow for a run of around 45 minutes. Please see the LGL Wednesday WhatsApp chat for details.
Runners who wish to do a longer run are welcome to use the Cycle Circuit from 6pm before the main session starts at 6:30pm.
THURSDAY - LAC Thursdays:-
First Thursday of the month – Hill Reps session, meet 7:30pm at Linlithgow Cricket Club car park.
Second Thursday of the month – Winchburgh session, meet 6:30pm behind Sinclair Academy
Third Thursday of the month (and fourth Thursday if there are five Thursdays in the month) – intervals session, meet 8pm at the Cycle Circuit at Xcite Linlithgow.
Last Thursday of the month – club handicap race. Winter route meet 8pm at the Cycle Circuit at Xcite Linlithgow. Summer Route meet 7:30pm at ‘the bench’ at The Peel by Linlithgow Loch.
Our sessions are open to any age from 11 up, but we ask that 11-13s are accompanied by a parent/carer. For more details and updates, check our Linlithgow AC Facebook page or contact linlithgowaccoaching@gmail.com.
